Picture the day. It's still dark at the ramp, the coolers are loaded, the ice is in and the forecast says "probably fine." Nothing below is a promise about the weather or the fish. It is just one imagined day, hour by hour, on the boat Reel Chance is giving away.
5:30 a.m.Lines off
Engine on. Behind you sits the 300 HP Mercury V8 Verado. The controls are fly-by-wire and the tank holds 180 gallons. You ease out of the channel and point the bow at open water.
6:15 a.m.Up on plane
Throttle forward. This is where Seakeeper Ride comes in. The giveaway page credits it with faster planing and reduced bow rise, and it corrects pitch and roll automatically for the whole run.

7:30 a.m.Looking for fish
Coffee in one hand, eyes on the two Garmin 1243xsv displays. A GR17M thru-hull transducer is down below, and the Garmin Reactor 40 autopilot sits at the helm with its GHC 50 control head.
9:00 a.m.Lines in
Rods go into the 40 holders on board, 22 of them along the gunwales.

11:00 a.m.Moving up front
Someone heads over to the trolling motor, a Garmin Force Kraken mounted on a Sea Swivel bracket.

1:00 p.m.Engine check
A glance at the helm, where Mercury VesselView integration and monitoring sits alongside the Garmin electronics. Then a quick call on the Garmin VHF radio to the friends fishing nearby, just to compare notes.
2:00 p.m.The long way back
Music on: Fusion at the head unit, Wet Sounds on the amp, and four Wet Sounds Zero speakers backed by a 10-inch Zero sub. It is a long ride home, so you might as well enjoy it.

5:00 p.m.Hose it down
Back at the dock. The saltwater washdown system handles the mess on deck, over full custom DEKit flooring. Below, two Rule 1500 GPH bilge pumps are part of the build. Then the dock lines go back on the cleats, and the day is done.
The next morningThe real decision
That is the daydream. The real choice comes later. If your name is drawn, the Official Rules hand you a decision: this boat, or $100,000 in cash. The rules list $200,000 as the Grand Prize's maximum approximate retail value.
